中国现在又兴个人崇拜了
今天晚上没事，突然想到看看自己网站的流量统计。因为HTTP header里面会记录 referrer ，所以如果一个人通过在百度或者 google 搜索某几个关键词并且通过点击结果列表的链接进入我的网站，就可以记录下她使用的关键词。这样可以统计最常把访问者引到这个网站的关键词。我的网站的百度关键词前5名分别是：
- template int n （83次）－ C++爱好者
- 姑娘走过的地方 （81次）－ 歌词收藏者
- 许丞 北大 （73次）－ … 师妹？73个？
- partial function （50次） － 刚学离散数学的学生
- 2006 国庆 滇西 旅游 游记 （47次）－ 旅游爱好者

又有抢劫和枪击了
sigh, 偶现在对这种事情已经快麻木了。
While there has been very little crime around campus in the past two weeks, unfortunately there were two serious incidents last night. Just after 8:00 p.m. a graduate student was the victim of an armed robbery on Temple Street near Wall Street. The robbers were two males, described as 15 to 18 years old, one of whom was wearing a mask. Also, around midnight last night, there were several disputes, one resulting in gunfire, in the area of Park and Chapel Streets. A large crowd of young people between the ages of 15 and 18 had just left Club Image following an underage party. No one was injured and the New Haven and Yale Police were able to make some arrests and recover a firearm.
The Yale Police are continuing their stepped-up patrols; we have increased our foot patrols in the Wall and Temple area. We appreciate the cooperation students and other members of the Yale community have shown in using security services on campus and avoiding walking alone, especially after dark.

又一起枪击案
前两天收到警察局的警告，大白天在市中心，也就是Yale的校园范围内发生一起持枪抢劫，有个学生还被打伤了，凶手还没抓到。大家看看下面这封信就知道偶是生活在怎样的水深火热之中了。
Dear Students,
I am distressed to report that four Yale students were victims of crime in two separate robberies early on Sunday morning. While crimes like this are not common in the areas around campus, we are very concerned about the serious nature of these incidents. One robbery occurred near the intersection on Elm Street past Dwight toward Kensington Street and the other occurred on Lake Place. While we do not know if the crimes are related, a handgun was used in both, and one student received a flesh wound in the hand when the gun was discharged. Thankfully, the student will be okay.
The Yale Police and the New Haven Police have already increased patrols in these areas. I urge you to use caution when you need to be out and about, especially in the evenings. Please use the mini-bus (2-6330) or the security escort service (2-WALK or 5-5555). If you are confronted by a criminal, it is wise to cooperate rather than risk serious injury from someone who could do you harm.
I also suggest that you take a moment right now to program the phone number of the Yale Police into your cell phone: (203) 432-4400. Please do not hesitate to call us at any time. There is nothing we take more seriously than the safety and security of our Yale community.
